SketchUp is a learning-oriented fellowship designed to support independent thinking, collaborative inquiry, and thoughtful engagement with economic and social questions of our time. It is a space for those who wish to explore ideas beyond rigid academic boundaries, and to translate reflection into meaningful practice.
The fellowship welcomes students, early-career researchers, and independent thinkers who are curious, critical, and committed to understanding the world from multiple perspectives. It encourages participants to question assumptions, engage with lived realities, and develop their ideas through dialogue, mentoring, and peer learning.
SketchUp is not a conventional research programme. It does not privilege credentials over curiosity, or outcomes over learning. Instead, it values openness, ethical reflection, and the slow, careful work of thinking together. Participants may pursue action research, conceptual exploration, or learning-based projects in economics and related fields.
The fellowship is open to individuals aged 16 and above, regardless of gender, language, country of origin, or formal educational background. Participation is voluntary and non-commercial; no fees are charged.
At its core, SketchUp seeks to nurture a community of thinkers who believe that ideas gain strength when shared, tested, and grounded in concern for the common good.
